As a responsible supplier to the environmental industry, Pressure Systems, Inc. (PSI) is keenly aware of the importance in manufacturing products that are safe to operate and harmless to the environment. With increasing frequency, our customers are asking us about our plans to comply with WEEE/RoHS[1] European Union directives; primarily with regard to removing lead from our products.
PSI’s products are classified as monitoring and control equipment (category 9) within the WEEE/RoHS category list, which are currently exempt from RoHS restrictions. Despite this classification, PSI is actively pursuing eventual elimination of all lead, along with other identified hazardous substances, from its circuit designs as compatible substitutes become available. We hope this information is helpful in determining the suitability of our products and our company for your requirements. Please feel free to contact us at leadfree@pressuresystems.com should have additional questions about our lead-free initiatives.Thank you for your consideration of PSI’s products.
