MARKETING MANAGER

The Marketing Manager is responsible for all marketing-related activities including market and technology research as well as liaising between the Sales and Development Engineering Departments with regard to new product definition and launch. This position reports to the President and participates in the development of the company’s strategic business plans.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage personnel within the marketing department
  • Develop and control departmental budget
  • Develop strategies to properly position the company in its respective markets
  • Conduct appropriate market research to identify business opportunities and the required technologies, products, and infrastructures to successfully capitalize on them
  • Participate in product development and organize resulting product launch efforts
  • Coordinate with the company’s PR agency to develop and execute effective marketing communication strategies
  • Identify and develop appropriate distribution channels for the company’s respective businesses
  • Manage the assets of the department and insure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and ethical requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong strategic business and marketing acumen while capable at project management
  • Proficient with PC’s and utilization of electronic media including email, web, e-commerce
  • Understand export regulations and export-related issues
  • Understand technology transfer and licensing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with good personnel skills
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and analysis

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in business or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in marketing or business development with 2 years experience in management
  • Background in sensors within the water management industry preferred.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for all electrical aspects of the embedded circuit design for specific products designated by the Director of Engineering.  The Electrical Engineer is a vital part of the design team responsible for the electrical design from inception to end of life.  This position reports to the Director of Engineering and is an essential part of the development process.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Design electrical circuits for new products and systems.
  • Improve design of existing products resulting in increased quality, lower cost, higher performance, and ease of manufacture.
  • Responsible for all aspects of electrical design for designated products.
  • Develop and maintain low bit microcontroller embedded designs for designated products.
  • Assist in creating next generation products.
  • Identify improvements in designs, processes, and practices for designated products.
  • Achieve agency approval for electrical designs when applicable.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong electrical engineering including low bit microcontroller embedded circuit design.
  • Preferred experience with sensor applications.
  • Proficient with PC’s and utilization of electronic media including email, web, circuit analysis, and statistical methods.
  • Creative application of electric design exploring possibilities for new products.
  • Work well in intra-departmental development team atmosphere.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with good personnel skills
  • Self motivated engineer striving for successful product and system design.

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline required. 
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Electrical Engineering.  Experience with low bit microcontroller embedded circuits and programming preferred.
  • Background in sensors and / or sensor systems preferred.
